About SRD Tuning
SRD Tuning specialises in the maintenance and performance tuning of high-performance vehicles. Since our inception in 2003, starting with the Toyota Supra, we have expanded our expertise to include a range of elite cars. In 2012, we began working with the Nissan R35 GT-R, and our portfolio now includes various Lexus models, including the IS-F, for which we built the UK's first supercharged version.
In 2019, we embraced the latest generation MKV A90 Supra, pushing this platform to exceed 700 horsepower. In 2021, we added the Toyota GR Yaris to our demo fleet, achieving record-breaking performance and creating the fastest and most powerful GR Yaris in the UK and Europe.
Our services cover a wide range of modifications, from routine maintenance to full engine builds and track preparation. Whether you need a street-legal car or a fully stripped-down drag machine, we cater to all needs and budgets, ensuring we deliver tailored solutions to enhance your vehicle's performance.

Lee PerrymanManaging Director
Lee has over 27 years’ experience in the automotive industry and held multiple senior technician roles prior to his current position as the Managing Director. Lee founded SRD Tuning in 2007 and is responsible for the preparation and long-term success of the business. Lee’s primarily roles are the overseeing and delivery of all the business’s projects and objectives.
Ashleigh CurtisTechnical Director
Ashleigh has been a core part of the workshop & development team at SRD Tuning for over 12 years having joined the team in 2012, Ashleigh has built a first-class reputation in the industry for motorsport and technical design advice across a whole spectrum of vehicle platforms.
Sam JacksonDesign / Technician
Sam joined SRD Tuning in 2022 as “Motorsport Engineering” award winning university graduate. Sam was appointed as design technician in 2023. Sam’s experience and skill set allow him to provide comprehensive and practical skills to the workshop and the design room.
Bailey GibbonsMachining / Technician
Bailey joined SRD Tuning in 2021 having recently qualified from Plumpton College in Motor Vehicle Maintenance. A born motorsport enthusiast, Bailey developed his skills at the company as a qualified technician. Along with his abundant enthusiasm he brings a wealth of machine shop operator skills to the workshop.
Michael YazgicElectronics Calibration & Wiring
Michael joined SRD Tuning in 2019 from another tuning specialist, having previously graduated from the University of Kent with a Bsc in Computer Science. His skills centre around his ability to use his considerable experience and knowledge in automotive electronics for the design, implementation and calibration of motorsport & aftermarket electronics.
Sean CooperFabricator / Technician
Sean joined the team in 2024 from a top engineering firm. He enjoys all aspects of motorsport fabrication, particularly assisting with high performance applications. Sean continues to build upon his first class reputation in this field within our own fabrication department.
