The H11 stock dimension head studs have approximately 21% higher clamp load rating than the standard headstuds for the 2JZ and approximately 4% higher clamp load rating than even the mighty 1/2″ headstuds.
While the price for these headstuds might seem crazy, they can actually present a better value than the 1/2″ stud package. In addition to having a higher clamp load rating than the 1/2″ studs, the H11 units can be more cost effective than having to purchase the 1/2″ studs + plus having your block machined + plus having your head machined + plus buying a custom headgasket. That’s not to mention the down time you save by not having to send all of your stuff out to the machine shop – and we all know that time is money!
